Ninety-five percent of the cores at Midwest are produced using the Furan no-bake system in one of three production areas. The Furan process provides accurate and consistent pattern reproduction in addition to excellent dimensional control. The remaining cores are made with the ester-cured phenolic no-bake process. Cores range in size from less than one pound to over 10,000 pounds.

A system of roller conveyors is used to minimize damage from core handling and to ensure the production of accurate finished castings.
